FP-Suite 2026 ("the Service") is a browser fingerprint diagnostics tool designed for:

  • Security research and analysis
  • Fraud detection and prevention
  • Privacy awareness and education
  • Device identification for legitimate purposes

This is a lookup and diagnostic tool only. We collect fingerprint data to analyze browser characteristics and detect potential security risks.

2. Data Collection

2.1 What We Collect

When you use the Service, we collect:

  • Server-side signals: IP address, HTTP headers, TLS fingerprints (JA3/JA4), connection metadata
  • Client-side signals: Browser fingerprint data including Canvas, WebGL, Audio, Fonts, Screen, Navigator properties, and other technical characteristics
  • Derived data: Risk scores, device identifiers, visit history

2.2 How We Use Data

  • Generate fingerprint reports for your device
  • Track return visits to demonstrate fingerprint persistence
  • Detect changes in device configuration over time
  • Provide risk assessment and bot detection analysis

2.3 Data Retention

Fingerprint data is stored in our database for diagnostic purposes. We recommend short retention periods for production deployments. Self-hosted instances control their own data retention policies.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We use a first-party cookie to stabilize device identification across visits. This cookie:

  • Contains only a random identifier
  • Is marked HttpOnly and Secure
  • Has a configurable expiration (default: 90 days)
  • Can be deleted by clearing your browser cookies

4. Permitted Use

You may use this Service for:

  • Testing your own browser's fingerprint characteristics
  • Security research on fingerprinting techniques
  • Educational purposes to understand browser privacy
  • Fraud detection on your own websites (self-hosted)

5. Prohibited Use

You may NOT use this Service to:

  • Bypass consent requirements on third-party sites
  • Any illegal or malicious purpose

This Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of fingerprint detection
  • Reliability of risk scores
  • Availability of the Service
  • Fitness for any particular purpose

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Privacy Compliance

If you self-host this tool:

  • You are responsible for compliance with applicable privacy laws
  • You must provide appropriate disclosures to your users
  • You must obtain consent where required by law
  • You control data retention and deletion policies
